Rebeckah Vaughan

Rebeckah Vaughan is an experienced dog handler with over 15 years in the business. She is the Founder of No More Kennels which is a luxury dog hotel as well as participating in multiple charitable activities.

Rebeckah is a highly experienced dog handler and is the go-to person for all things dog-related. She is a force-free dog groomer meaning she works to alter a dog’s behaviour through reward rather than punishment. She explains that reward-based training helps to build confidence and encourages dogs to think individually. The inspiration to start her own business stemmed from the thought of leaving her chihuahua, Pucci, in a ‘concrete cell’ which was the only option back in 2008. Rebeckah founded No More Kennels in 2008 as an alternative to dog kennels which provided the dogs with a home from home which she ran from her house. Within 3 weeks she was fully booked.

Now in a new larger location, No More Kennels is an established luxury dog hotel, spa and resort which is part of the Association of Dog Boarders and can house up to 75 dogs per day. Rebeckah has gone above and beyond to ensure she is suitably qualified for her role, achieving various qualifications. She has a qualification in Applied Canine Behaviour Management which is equivalent to a degree with honours as well as being canine first aid trained which includes lifesaving C.P.R. Alongside her business, Rebeckah participates in various charity activities. She founded Help a Homeless Dog which aims to provide support to homeless people with dogs providing dog food, sleeping bags and dog medication. She also has been a Volunteer Counsellor at the NSPCC since 2014. Rebeckah’s success has earnt her regular TV and radio appearances.
