Rebecca Jackson is a Championship award-winning racing driver and journalist who writes for the Girlracer website.
Inspired by her parent’s involvement in classic cars, competitive racing and driving instruction, Rebecca started her own used car sales business, RJ Internet Showroom, in 2007. With a budget of just £300 and a single Vauxhall Cavalier as stock, she set out to make a success of herself. Over the past ten years, her business has seen exponential success and is now known as the high-end RJ Prestige Cars. The company’s stock list now regularly features classic names and brands such as Jaguar, Rolls Royce, and BMW.
Since her business success, Rebecca has made her racing debut, starting out in 2011 in the BRSCC Porsche Championship. Finishing in 8th position driving a Porsche 924, the thrill of the drive lead her to continue in the sport. In her second season, Rebecca continued to race the Porsche 924, securing her first-ever competitive heat win and finishing 4th overall. Rebecca turned to the Porsche Production Boxster Class for her 2013 season, competing in a Porsche Boxster S and winning the class with a huge 201 points.
After being recognised as not only a talented driver but a knowledgable expert in the industry, Rebecca became a sought after presenter. As her experience lies in racing and car-focused material, she began by co-presenting CarBuyer’s video reviews with Mat Watson. The pair also presented ITV4’s I Want That Car in 2013 and in 2014, Rebecca began presenting video reviews for Telegraph Cars. Recognised as a rising star, Rebecca starred on an episode of Fifth Gear, where her and Tiff Needle took on the famous Exeter Trial.
Always one to take on a challenge, Rebecca and co-correspondent Andrew Frankel set out in 2015 to visit the most countries using a single tank of fuel. On their Audi and RAC-supported journey, they passed through 14 countries in an Audi A6, setting a new world record.
World record-breaking racing driver and entrepreneur, Rebecca Jackson has garnered much recognition for her work as an after dinner and keynote speaker. Being able to cover a wide range of topics from professional racing to television presenting, has allowed Rebecca to become a versatile and interesting speaker, available for corporate functions, private events and awards evenings.
