In 2016, his unparalleled industry prowess saw Nash named the President of the CIOB, responsible for raising issues affecting construction, and developing comprehensive reports tackling such problems. Much of Nash’s focus is dedicated to ensuring quality industry wide, and building safety, an area he was involved in developing for the government following the Grenfell Tower incident.

A graduate from the University of Reading, Nash studied project management which allowed him to gain an educated foundation in the necessary skills required for effective personal, team and industry management. Armed with theoretical knowledge, Nash put it into practice in a number of project management roles working his way up to becoming a partner of EC Harris LLP in 2002. Responsible for the delivery of property solutions for clients in Europe and the Middle East, Nash gained a reputation as a leading authority in the sector.

Currently, Nash acts as Director of Paul Nash Consultancy, which he founded in 2016, where he offers individuals, governing bodies and companies on property development and funding. Additionally, Nash has continued to work as a revered consultant at Jansons Property, a role he has held since 2016, and has diversified further to share his expertise as a speaker. Appearing as the guest speaker at events such as the 2019 CIOB event, Nash discussed ‘Quality in Constructions’, a topic he explored again at the 2020 UK Construction Week.
