Paul Hall

Paul Hall had a prolific football career that spanned over two decades, primarily playing as a right winger and forward. He represented Jamaica at the international level, earning 48 caps and scoring 14 goals, including his participation in the 1998 World Cup, where he helped Jamaica make their debut in the tournament. Now available to hire for events, Paul’s expertise of football, leadership and team management makes him a highly sought-after keynote speaker.

At the club level, Paul's career included stints at numerous English football clubs. He is most notably remembered for his time at Portsmouth, where he made 216 appearances and scored 42 goals. He also played for Coventry City, Walsall, Chesterfield, Tranmere Rovers, and Mansfield Town, among others. Over his career, he played nearly 750 matches and scored around 125 goals.

After retiring from professional football in 2011, Paul transitioned into coaching, serving in various roles, including assistant and caretaker manager for clubs like Mansfield Town and Tamworth, as well as youth and development coaching positions at Queens Park Rangers (QPR). He has been a Professional Development Coach for the Under 18s at QPR FC. In 2022 he joined as the 1st Team Coach for QPR FC, where he was able to display his expertise in tactical strategy and player development. In 2021, he was recognised on the Football Black List during Black History Month.

Known for his forward-thinking nature, Paul has led an illustrious career with over 9 years of experience as a development coach. He has also been closely involved with Jamaica’s national team, where he held the Interim Head Coach position in 2022. Paul holds a UEFA Pro Licence and has been praised for his developmental work at QPR, where he has helped numerous young players transition to the first team, including talents like Ebere Eze. Outside of football, Paul also serves as an Advisory & Consultant at Halls and Halls – a boutique sports consultancy. Paul Hall is now available to hire for events related to football, sports, teamwork and team building, leadership and strategy.
