Inspired by a simple photograph, Rosie wanted to pursue her passion of flying from a young age. However, when she applied to the RAF, she was dealt the devastating blow that her petite stature meant she was too small to fly fast jets. Undeterred, she reapplied as a navigator where the physical limits allowed smaller humans to fly. After years of intensive training, where she faced failure head on and overcame self-doubt, she found herself at the controls of a £50 million fighter jet, flying supersonic. Rosie is passionate about improving human performance, especially for those working in high pressure environments and teams. She has worked internationally, speaking with a wide range of industries and organisations to help them develop their professional effectiveness. She also has an MSc in Human Factors and Behaviour Change.
Rosie and Helen Seymour were one of the few all female crews to fly together in the world. Working under intense pressure to perform at their best in a high-performing team, in a predominantly male environment, they forged a friendship that has stood the test of time. Together, Rosie and Helen went on to found ‘On A Mission’ to retell their extraordinary experiences of flying together from unique perspectives. They have spoken with a wide range of organisations, at all levels, bringing unforgettable lessons from the front-line simultaneously enthralling audiences whilst being easily relatable to business challenges.

"A real privilege to work with you at such an early stage of the development of your business. It’s great working with Business Leaders who have a growth mindset, can take feedback, and do amazing things with it. You are amazing, what you do is phenomenal, and I can’t wait to watch your continued success, seeing your heads stay firmly above the parapet." - Mark, Business Coach
“A heartfelt thank you to Rosie and Helen for the outstanding speeches they delivered over the eight workshops we hosted at Network Rail. The Railway can be a tough crowd, but they did not let them intimidate them. They were engaging, interesting, and highly motivational throughout. I can honestly say that Rosie and Helen were by far the best keynote speakers we have had for these events, and that is not just my personal opinion. I have had so many people complimenting the calibre and relevance of what they spoke about.” – Joanner, Network Rail
