Nick Butter is best known as an endurance athlete with a passion for running. Once trapped in boring office life, Nick has since broken free and followed his passion to run and explore the world. Over the past decade Nick has gone from a slow jogger to breaking world records, and now performs as a public speaker to inspire others to follow in his athletic footsteps.

Famed for his impressive feats of endurance, Nick is widely known for becoming the first man to complete a marathon in every country in the world. Taking just 23 months to complete this impressive display of athleticism, Nick is now sharing his tales as a keynote speaker to inspire others to embrace their sense of adventure. Nick is also the holder of four world records and two world firsts, with a Netflix documentary on the way regarding his incredible expeditions. Nick is also the author of Running the World, and has been featured in publications such as National Geographic, The World Health Organisation and Runner’s World Magazine.

Outside of his running, Nick has founded The 196 Foundation, a grant fund that aims to help charities deliver relief to those in need. Nick has set himself many challenges in running, such as spending 24hrs on a treadmill, running from Malin Head to Mizen Head, a 3000km challenge and running the Arctic Circle.
