Neil Delamere

Neil Delamere is an award-winning Irish comedian who has made appearances on some of the biggest stages with the most revered comedians. He is most well-known for his sell-out stand-up comedy tours and regular appearances on BBC Northern Ireland and RTE. One of the wittiest comedians of our day, well-known for his lightning fast comebacks, Neil is also a popular choice for presenting, having shown his talents when presenting the award-winning TV shows such as IFTA Awards and the Celtic Media Festival.

Gaining a degree in Computer Applications from Dublin City University, Neil would not follow a career in the technology industry and instead chose something completely different: comedy. Beginning his stand-up career at the Edinburgh Festival back in 2004, Neil would go from strength to strength on the comedy circuit, having performed all over the world in the UK (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Canada (Montreal Just for Laughs Festival) and Australia (Melbourne International Comedy Festival), and has gained numerous five-star reviews for his performances. More than a one-trick-pony, Neil has also become a star on many comedy TV programmes including Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, There’s Something about Patrick and One Night Stand, and is a regular panel member on BBC Northern Ireland’s The Blame Game.

Outside of stand-up comedy Neil has led a successful career; he had hosted ‘The Only Viking in the Village’ and has made appearances on ‘Ireland’s Fittest Family, Celebrity Special’ and ‘Dancing with the Stars’. One of his most successful appearances to date was on the BBC mockumentary ‘Soft Border Control’, his sketches have since gained over 3 million views online.
