Nathan Maguire is a remarkable T54 Wheelchair Racer who has competed in many 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m races throughout his career. Having been paralyzed since the age of 8, Nathan has never limited his potential and has worked hard for everything he has achieved. Starting his wheelchair racing career in 2014, Nathan made his debut at the London Mini Marathon. At this event, he was able to set a new track record which incredibly still stands to this day. Throughout his 8-year career, Nathan has worked his way up the world rankings and performed at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games where he came second in the 4x100m relay race. In 2022, Nathan won the 400m event at the British Athletics Championships and continued to win the 1500m event at the Commonwealth Games.
As a talented racer, Nathan has been rewarded with numerous medals throughout his career. His first international medals were all awarded the bronze award at the European Championships in 2018. He also won three medals at the 2021 European Championships, consisting of two bronze medals in the T54 400m and 800m and a silver medal as part of the 4x100m relay team. His ability is greatly respected throughout the sporting community and is continuing to train for future events.
Nathan Maguire is a greatly talented individual and worked hard for everything he has been able to achieve.
