Millie Bridger is a UK-based speaker, writer, actress, model and health advocate who is redefining how disability and chronic illness are seen in society. Living with multiple complex conditions, including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, gastroparesis and PoTS, she shares her story with honesty and energy, challenging stigma and opening conversations that inspire inclusion. Feeding tubes and mobility aids are part of her everyday life, and she places them at the centre of her advocacy to show that visibility drives change.
Trained at Italia Conti and the London Studio Centre, Millie has performed at Wembley Stadium, appeared on stage and screen, and worked as a body double in major films. She has delivered talks at international conferences, including events for the Ehlers-Danlos Society, and contributed to inclusive campaigns that highlight the importance of representation across the creative industries and beyond.
In 2024, she founded milliebridger.com, a platform dedicated to peer support, creative content and health advocacy services. Built around her personal motto, “Inclusion first. Happiness always,” the platform has quickly grown into a hub for community connection and awareness. Alongside her advocacy, Millie hosts "Finding Happiness, Together", a monthly support group that brings people living with chronic illness and disability into conversation and community.
Millie is passionate about using her lived experience to motivate audiences and to spark cultural change. Her strength as a speaker lies in her ability to mix powerful personal storytelling with a hopeful message of resilience and joy. Whether on stage, in front of the camera or online, she encourages audiences to reimagine disability not as a limitation but as another lens through which creativity, ambition and happiness can flourish.
