‘Editor At Large’ of TechCrunch and co-founder of ThePathfounder magazine, Mike Butcher MBE is one of the most influential journalists in European technology, as named by Wired and The Daily Telegraph. The long-time writer, broadcaster and editor has written for UK national newspapers and magazines including The Financial Times, The Guardian, The Times, The Daily Telegraph and The New Statesman, as well as being the former editor of New Media Age magazine. Since 1996 he has launched or re-launched numerous media web sites and co-founded a number of organisations such as the TechHub, a project that merges a thriving community with office space for fast-moving startups. An incredibly experienced individual, Mike co-founded The Europas Awards for European startups, the non-profits TechVets and Techfugees, and the co-working network TechHub. He is a regular tech commentator on the BBC, Sky News, CNN, CNBC and Aljazeera and has been a judge on The Apprentice UK.
