As a comedian with a refreshingly new approach to comedy, Michael has been in high demand to appear at famous venues and at televised events. From the Top Secret Comedy Club to London’s Up The Creek Comedy Club, Micahel is a regular at stand up venues, especially in the capital. Additionally, his work can be heard on BBC Radio 4 and Michael can be seen on Chris Ramsey’s Stand Up Central on the Comedy Central channel.
Recognised across the UK for his comic abilities, Michael Odewale has been nominated for a number of awards. Even as a fresh face on the scene, Michael won the Chortle Student Comedy Award in 2016 and in the same year he was a finalist for the BBC New Comedy Awards. In 2018 he was handpicked alongside three others to perform in The Pleasance Comedy Reserve Edinburgh Fringe slot. After his debut solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe, he received the award for the Best New Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2019.
