Mich Turner

Mich Turner is a British chef and world renowned baker known for her exquisite cake making and intricate decorating skills; Mich is so well respected in fact that in 2010 she was awarded an MBE for her services to the British culinary industry. Mich has appeared as a chef on numerous TV series including This Morning and Channel 5’s the Ultimate Celebrity Wedding and has worked alongside other celebrity chefs on popular shows such as Ready Steady Cook. Mich is also host and chef of her own show, Britain’s Best Bakery, which airs on ITV daytime.

The author of several books Mich has been award multiple awards from Warpole’s Luxury Brands of the Year, Harper Bazaar and Chanel’s Entrepreneur of the Year and Best Dessert Book for her publication Spectacular Cakes. Complimenting her standing as a celebrity chef, personal passion for cooking and her culinary expertise Turner’s greatest achievement is arguably that of chef and Chief Executive of her own brand of cakes, The Little Venice Cake Company. As a chef Turner has been applauded for her creativity and steady hand, she has been asked to act as chef for celebrity weddings and has baked cakes for Madonna, David Beckham and Her Majesty the Queen of England.

Mich Turner has also worked with some of the most famous and reputable brands in the baking industry including Allison’s, Sliverspoon, Dr. Oetker and Baileys; she is one of few celebrity chefs to secure contracts with both Harrods and Fortnum & Mason for the sale of Little Venice cakes and has also launched her own brand of chef’s tools. Thanks to her celebrity chef status Mich Turner is often asked to appear at cookery roadshows and provide cake decorating demonstrations; her sugar craft expertise makes her one of the most sought after chefs working in television. Whilst her enigmatic personality and strong work ethic make her a genuine and impressive role model for would-be chefs and bakers.
