Former NFL player, Mark Pattison, is embarking on a record-breaking feat, to be the first NFL player to climb the Seven Summits. Strong in mentality and physicality, Mark has taken to the challenge, with the same attitude he approached all his ventures in life; headstrong and positive. As an after dinner speaker, Mark shares how he overcame obstacles to reach his goals and inspires others to do the same. As an NFL star, Mark played for the Raiders, Ram’s and Saints over a five-year stretch before leaving to build three multi million-dollar businesses. After co-founding Venture-Backed Front Porch Classics, a gaming company visible in over 700 locations, Mark decided on his Seven Summits Challenge as a way to escape the rat race of life. Mark is now an executive for Sports Illustrated.

Currently, Mark has reached the peaks of six of the Seven Summits, with only Mount Everest remaining. The scale of his mission has garnered attention worldwide and been featured on the NFL Network in a special episode 'Life After Football: Mark Pattison'. Mark will not only be attempting Mt Everest in 2021 but also climbing Lhotse within 24 hours of summiting Mt Everest which is the 4th highest mountain in the world. Only a handful of people have accomplished this.

In 2017, Mark launched his weekly podcast series called Finding Your Summit. Mark interviews high achievers who have overcome adversity and gone on to find success in whatever medium they have chosen. To date, Mark’s guests have ranged from a shark attack victim, POW in Vietnam, Navy Seals, professional athletes and mountaineers to business and music stars. Within 24 months of launching his social media channels and website, Mark had over 400,000 fans engaged globally and his page continues to expand its reach by over 1,000 new people per week. With a global reach, Mark has spoken publicly for corporations about overcoming adversity and finding their way, through his Seven Summits of Success model. As a speaker, he shares stories from the NFL, Mountaineering and his various business ventures as well as recent philanthropy work.
