Mark Nicholas

Widely-known as one of the most recognisable voices in cricket, cricket commentator Mark Nicholas is a permanent fixture of the sport. Originally hailing from London, Mark played for Hampshire for almost two decades before venturing into the world of sports commentary. Mark’s career in cricket has been an eventful one. As a player, his work as Hampshire’s captain saw them lift several significant trophies, including the Sunday League, the NatWest Trophy and the Benson & Hedges Cup. Following his retirement, he soon found his way into broadcasting, fulfilling several positions for the likes of Channel 4 and Sky Sports.

Starting off as a commentator for Sky Sports, Mark’s insight helped him to become a beloved companion to cricket fans across the globe. A talented writer, he would later go on to publish his autobiography A Beautiful Game: My Love Affair with Cricket.
