Having worked a decorated career for the past two decades, Marcell’s career initially blossomed in the HR industry, working as the Manager of Human Resources for DHL Express. Progressing through the company, to Manager of Controlling & HR Systems and Manager of Change Projects, Marcell ultimately reached the role of Manager of Integration Projects for DHL Express before becoming a Principal Consultant for PA Consulting Group. In 2005, Marcell began working for SAP, hired as the Head of Strategic Projects for SAP. Forging a reputation as an expert on HR, strategy and business management, Marcell later became the Vice President of Global Finance Projects, Chief Procurement Officer, Senior Vice President of Global Procurement Organisation and Chief Digital Officer of SAP. Having also worked as the Chief Operating Officer of SAP Ariba, Marcell has forged an astute reputation for driving digital strategies and digital growth.

Since then, Marcel has committed his business expertise to cultivating digital growth in organisations and inspiring innovation. In 2019, he began work as the Chief Innovation Officer of Celonis, helping companies such as Siemens, Citi, Uber, L’Oreal and Vodafone on their digital transformation journeys. He has also been a Partner and Director of Boston Consulting Group and the CEO of Prospitalia Group, before being appointed his current role in 2023.
