Lystus Ebosele might be better known as ‘Cyclone’, from BBC’s “Gladiators”. One of the youngest Gladiators on the show, Lystus is dedicated to empowering women to embrace their strength and be unapologetically themselves.
Before joining the award winning show, Lystus was a champion powerlifter who won the 84+kg class at the 2023 World Junior Powerlifting Championships. Then in 2024, She broke the Junior World Record at the Arnold Classic UK, lifting an incredible 617.5kg, breaking a record that had been in place since 2016.
In 2025, Lystus made her debut as Cyclone on BBC’s “Gladiators” as a straight-talking, confident warrior. She has already made a huge impact on the show, defeating two contenders in the ‘Dual’ in her first ever appearance on the show. She then refused to come down from the podium, demanding they bring on the next contender.
