A popular former footballer who enjoyed prolific spells as a striker for Fulham, Manchester United, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and the French national team, Louis Saha twice won the Premier League, as well as the Champions League with Manchester United.
Since hanging up his boots, Saha has been busy forming the business venture, AxisStars which aims to connect celebrities and sports stars with trusted service providers and brands, as well as working as a pundit for Sky Sports and columnist for the likes of Manchester Evening News and The Guardian.
Saha began as a youth player at elite French academy Clairefontaine before he joined the Metz academy system in 1995. Two years later he was making his debut for the club at senior level, where he played for 3 years, in which time he had a short loan spell at Newcastle United. By 2000 he had caught the attention of Fulham, where after a £2.1 million transfer, he went on to truly prove his ability.
After 63 goals across four seasons for Fulham, where he helped the side to gain promotion before proving himself as a prolific Premier League striker, Saha moved to Manchester United for £12.4 million in 2004. At United, he would overcome early injury problems to help the club to win back the league title in 2006-07, before retaining it once more the following season. He would also win the 2005-06 League Cup and the coveted Champions League trophy with the club in 2007-08.
Other impressive feats of his include the record for the fastest goal scored in FA Cup Final history and reaching the 2006 FIFA World Cup Final. Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney would later describe Saha as his favourite strike partner from his time in the game.
An impressive stint at Everton yielded 27 goals in 97 appearances before he had spells at Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland and Lazio at the end of his playing days.
Since retiring he has been called upon as both a pundit and after dinner speaker, having spoken at events that include, eSports, Soccerex Europe, The World Football Summit in the world of football and events such as Marketing Insight Series (MiS) presents Louis Saha & Kate Hamer and WebSummit during his time in business. Ideal for recounting his experiences in football and in business, Louis Saha is hugely popular with corporate audiences.
