Lee Duncan is a life coach, lived-experience mentor and motivational speaker whose extraordinary journey has made him a powerful advocate for resilience, recovery and inclusion. By the age of ten, Lee had lost both parents. At 18, he became homeless, and his struggles with addiction led to a period where he was placed on a heart monitor just to stay alive. Today, after more than nine years of sobriety and a diagnosis of neurodivergence (ASD and ADHD), Lee shares his story to inspire individuals and organisations to unlock resilience and lasting change.
Lee is the founder of Walk the Streets Coaching & Mentoring and creator of the Rewrite Framework, a simple yet powerful model designed to help people and organisations find clarity, strengthen resilience and take meaningful action. His approach combines lived experience with practical strategies, offering audiences tools they can use immediately to transform challenges into opportunities.
As a speaker, Lee has delivered impactful talks for organisations such as the York Road Project (Woking), Tennis For All (through disability sport advisor Mark Bullock) and KCAH (Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness). His work has also been featured in Kingston Nub News, raising awareness of how lived experience can drive cultural change and help build more compassionate communities. By blending authenticity with practical frameworks, Lee connects deeply with audiences from corporate teams to charities and educational settings.
Lee’s talks centre on the themes of resilience, recovery, neurodivergence, mental health and leadership through lived experience. He motivates audiences by showing that no matter how difficult the circumstances, change is possible with the right mindset and support. With a focus on empathy, inclusion and clarity of purpose, Lee empowers individuals and organisations to create environments where people not only survive but thrive.
