Lee Donald is a multi award-winning Fitness Entrepreneur, accomplished speaker, and extreme mountaineer. As the Director and Owner of Lee Donald Personal Training, she has transformed thousands of lives while collecting an astonishing 30 business awards. Lee's most extraordinary personal triumph came in May 2024, when she became the 7th female from Scotland to summit Mount Everest, achieving a lifelong dream against seemingly insurmountable odds. Known for her raw honesty, humour, and resilience, she brings an unparalleled authenticity to every speaking engagement.

Lee’s journey into fitness and entrepreneurship is rooted in immense personal struggle. After spending 15 years battling an eating disorder, depression, alcohol addiction, and exercise-induced broncho constriction, she decided to turn her life around. In 2011, starting from absolute scratch with no premises, no equipment, no clients and no financial backing, Lee launched her business. Her discipline and determination were apparent from a young age, as she became the youngest person in Scotland to receive two double gradings and a triple grading in Scottish Shotokan Karate, earning her black belt at just 13 years old. These formative experiences built the mental fortitude that would later define both her business and her extraordinary personal challenges.

Throughout her career, Lee has accumulated numerous honours that reflect her industry leadership and personal achievements. In 2025, she celebrated her 30th business award, including titles such as Female Fitness Entrepreneur of the Year 2025/25 (Scotland’s Prestige Awards) and Business Award for Excellence (E2 Media). In 2024, Lee was named Personal Trainer of the Year 2024/25 (Corporate Livewire Global Awards) and received a Parliamentary Motion raised by Liam Kerr MSP recognising her inspiring achievements. Her excellence has been acknowledged by bodies like the Scottish Enterprise Awards, Scotland’s Business Awards, and the Best of the Best Awards. In addition to her business accolades, Lee has excelled as a competitor in obstacle course racing, representing Scotland at both European and World Championship levels, defying medical predictions about her condition.
