Further using her success and fame for good, Laura enlisted the help of other notable athletes and campaigned against discrimination in sports. Aside from competing, Laura has taken part in media events such as providing commentary for the 2016 Summer Olympics. She also took part in a season of Danse Avec Les Stars. Although she doesn’t compete anymore, Laura focusses her career on supporting sports management and advocacy, mainly throughout fencing and charitable initiatives.
