Kate Faragher is a highly respected keynote speaker and an expert with over two decades worth of experience in the political sector. She is the Managing Director of Bespoke Skills, having joined the company in 2005, she aims to help organisations and individuals get the results they want by giving bespoke and tailored solutions to their problems. In 1989 Kate graduated from the University of Edinburgh in BSc Ecological Sciences, Ecology & Psychology and then began a career working in the BBC on BBC Radio 4’s ‘The Today Show’ to explore politics and journalism until 2004. Kate also has a passion for acting and spent ten years working at the National Theatre, ending her acting career in 2006. She has also previously worked as a Sales and Distribution Producer for IWC Media, a Trainer for Apropos Productions & Off the Cuff and a member of EBA for Coaches.
In 2015 Kate presented her a talk on collaboration on the prestigious TEDx stage: ‘Intuitive Collaboration: What Ants can Teach us About Working Together’, cementing her name as one of the leading keynote speakers in her field. She is also the host of the podcast ‘Listen to the Whisper’ where she interviews everyone from inventors to dog walkers on how they listened to their whisper and gained the courage to follow their dreams, whilst celebrating the small things in life. Kate has worked with committees around the world and has even worked with UN Women and the Common Parliamentary Association to help women use their voice and speak up in challenging environments.
