As though her qualifications and honours were not strong indicators alone Dr Julie Bradshaw MBE’s varied and numerous accomplishments highlight her status as an exceptional individual. A brilliant motivational speaker Dr Bradshaw is has found success as a sports person, charity fundraiser, counsellor and business leader.

Vastly talented Dr Julie Bradshaw MBE has broken a number of sporting records in her capacity as a swimmer, successfully crossing the English Channel and navigating the waters around Manhattan Island Bradshaw is one of two people to ever successfully complete both feats. She has worked as a motivational speaker specifically within the swimming industry and dedicates much of her spare time to assisting others to achieve their swimming and sporting goals. Bradshaw has volunteered for the Channel Swimming Association since successfully crossing the Channel for the first time aged just fifteen and continues to work as an after dinner speaker for the group.

Outside her work as a swimmer and sporting motivational speaker Dr Julie Bradshaw MBE has helped to raise money for a variety of worthy causes including Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Childline. She was awarded an MBE for her services to swimming and charity in 2006 and gained an honorary doctorate from Loughborough University the same year. As well as working as an after dinner speaker Dr Julie Bradshaw MBE is a qualified teacher, counsellor and neuro-linguistic programming therapist.
