Best known for being a professional rugby union player for the England international team and for the national team, Leicester Tigers, Julian White MBE is regarded as one of the most powerful forwards and props in the game. Starting off his sports career as an apprentice with Okehampton and Plymouth Albion, Julian had the opportunity to play in New Zealand for Hawke’s Bay and Centerbury Crusaders. It was after his return from New Zealand that Julian moved to Bridgend in 1998, before moving to the prestigious Saracens in 1999. It was in 2000 that Julian White was called up to make his England debut.
Julian has had an extremely successful rugby career that spanned over 20 years. He was part of the 2003 World Cup winning team that triumphed over Australia, and won the 2001 Six Nations with the grand slam winning England squad. Furthermore, he also won multiple trophies with the Leicester Tigers team, before retiring from the sport. As a result of his contribution to the sport, Julian was appointed MBE in 2004.
Since his retirement from professional rugby, Julian is now a popular media presenter, speaker and farmer. With his interest in farming, Julian and his partner envision a business selling high-quality beef and lamb to restaurants and supermarkets.
