Jude started their career as a public speaker in 2013 with the Amy Winehouse Foundation Resilience Programme, delivering talks on peer pressure, self-esteem and resilience to young people in European schools. They spoke alongside Mitch Winehouse, telling the story of their blossoming recovery journey. They developed their career as an independent speaker and worked with organisations such as the Self Esteem Team, delivering talks on mental health, stress and self-esteem before becoming an educator and advocates for LGBTQIA+ gender diversity awareness and inclusion. For 11 years, Jude has been inspiring people of all ages, cultures, backgrounds, and professions. By speaking openly and sharing their vulnerability, they have a profound ability to engage and connect with audiences by speaking the universal language of the heart. Their transgender experience was a brief but eye-opening stage of their experience, giving them huge insight into the way society has shaped us all.
Jude was named one of the Top 21 Activists Globally by Pink News in 2023 and won Campaigner of the Year 2024 in the Bank of London Rainbow Honours. Jude made history with their groundbreaking global initiatives and campaigns championing trans-positive narratives and empowering allies. Their latest campaign, #TransYouthAreLoved, was the biggest celebrity-endorsed trans solidarity campaign ever. Over 60 TV, film, and music celebrities sent video messages supporting trans youth. Emma Bunton, Dannii Minogue, David Tennant, Elliot Page, Jessie Ware, Will Young, and Mae Martin were a few public figures involved. The campaign made mainstream press, including ITV News, and went viral on social media with video messages viewed by millions of people worldwide. Jude has led three major Pride parades with their campaigns, including Pride in London and Brighton Pride.
Jude is the founder of Trans+ Solidarity Alliance, a national advocacy network advancing the rights and conditions of trans people in the UK. They made history by chairing the first all-trans panel in the UK Parliament. The event was hosted by Kate Osborne MP and Caroline Nokes MP and attended by MPs and lords in the Houses of Parliament. TSA is an umbrella organisation convening LGBT+ organisations and trans activists working in partnership with cis-gender allies to create positive change for trans people in the UK. Their projects include a series of expert briefings in Parliament and media engagement strategies. TSA has made official statements to the national media, including the ITV News. TSA’s historic briefing was officially recognised by LGBT History Month.
As an internationally signed model, Jude has represented global brands. Trailblazing non-binary representation, in 2020, Vogue Italia quoted them as “paving the way for non-binary representation in the world of fashion is one of Jude’s many noble goals” after their biggest achievement saw them as the first non-binary face of Harrods for their H Beauty campaign where Jude’s tagline was 'My Beauty is Being Myself'. Today, Jude writes for UK national media, including Metro, Attitude, Cosmopolitan, and Pink News and has been featured in Vogue Italia, Forbes, TMZ, The Independent, VICE, BBC News, Dazed, and BBCThree.
