Josie Green

Josie Green is a talented professional footballer who plays for Leicester City in the Women’s Super League and represents the Wales national team. Her career has been filled with many notable achievements throughout her time with different teams. Continuing to feature in many matches for the team, Josie signed her first professional contract with Spurs before the team won promotion to the FA Women’s Super League. Later in her career, Josie joined Leicester City Women and was named as part of LCFC Women’s leadership group. Her debut was against her former team, Tottenham Hotspur, and she has since been an invaluable player on the squad. Despite having played at midfield for most of her career, Josie adapted and played on Leicester’s backline during the 2023/2024 season. In her international career, she continues to represent Wales as a constant presence since she was 16. Her talent alongside her ability to lead and contribute to a team makes her highly regarded in the football world.
