John Price is considered a marketing consultant veteran of Latin American geopolitics and economics. The thought leader’s academic and consulting background is showcased in his understanding of current trends in both the Latin American and Caribbean Markets. His anecdotal content has seen him build over two thousand client engagements in these regions since 1993.
It is John’s expertise in his field and the geographic area that has seen him advise over 30 of the top 100 global firms with regard to their business strategies and market intelligence needs. His consulting career began in Mexico with the founding of InfoAmericas. The firm became the largest independent market intelligence firm in Latin America prior to being sold to Kroll in 2007. Selling the company to the world’s largest corporate investigations firm saw John launching Kroll’s first market intelligence practice.
John Price left Kroll in 2011. He then founded Americas Marketing Intelligence, a company that has offices in Miami and Mexico City, with affiliate offices in Santiago, Buenos Aires, and Sao Paulo.
The co-author of “Can Latin America Compete?”, John has published over 100 articles on Latin American Business Trends. He also writes a column for Latin Trade, the region’s largest English magazine. Besides his writing and corporate responsibilities, John, who obtained his BComm degree from Queen’s University in 1988, is an adjunct professor at Florida International University.
John is an active board member of a Latin American orphanage network by the name of Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos and the Canadian Council of the Americas.
