Jessica Matthias is the Global Director of Sustainability Director at Sabre Corporation, a global technology company serving the travel industry. Known for engaging publicity and thought-leadership campaigns, she has achieved significant success in ESG, policy, and PR over her 15-year career. Her dedication to creating a sustainable and equitable future resonates with diverse audiences, making her a sought-after speaker in the field.

In her early career, she worked as a consultant for the travel, transport, and technology industries. She previously worked as a Public Relations Manager for Tribal Group and a Public Relations Account Manager for Automotive PR and provided communications, strategy, and ESG consultancy for global brands like the United Nations Telecommunications Union, BBOXX, and the Vienna Tourist Board. Her academic background includes a BA from the University of Surrey, a Chartered Institute of Public Relations Diploma (MCIPR) from the University of London, and further studies in Sustainable Corporations from the Said Business School, University of Oxford.

Currently, Jessica leads Sabre's global sustainability strategy, focusing on product innovation, employee engagement, and partnerships. Her role involves setting impactful eco-conscious goals that directly influence the environmental footprint of global travel. Her efforts have positioned Sabre as a leader in sustainable travel, with the company facilitating over 120 million hotel stays and 700 million air passengers annually. Alongside her work, she is a member of the Global Travel & Tourism Resilience Council - investigating the best practices to make travel more sustainable and accessible for all travellers. In line with her commitment to conservationism, Matthias volunteers at Glastonbury Festival, to help protect the site from the environmental effects of the festivals’ 250,000 attendants.
