Jennifer Reoch is an award-winning television presenter, radio broadcaster, event host and keynote speaker, recognised for her extensive career across the BBC, ITV, STV, Heart Radio and Classic FM. An accomplished live broadcaster with more than 1,200 hours of live television experience, Jennifer has become a familiar presence on British television and radio. Her career highlights include reporting for BBC One’s ‘The One Show’, presenting and co-commentating on ‘The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo’ and co-presenting RTS Scotland Award-winning programme ‘Live at Five’. Her experience communicating with audiences across television, radio and major live events makes her an engaging speaker on communication, confidence and performing under pressure.
Jennifer began modelling at the age of 12, working internationally in locations including Berlin and New York and with clients such as L’Oréal, Amanda Wakeley and Jenners. Alongside her modelling career, she studied at the University of Glasgow, graduating in 2011 with an LLB in Law with French. That same year, Jennifer was crowned Miss Scotland, using her platform to undertake extensive charity work and help raise more than £100,000. She subsequently represented Scotland at Miss World, placing seventh, an international experience that further developed her confidence, public speaking and ability to connect with people from different backgrounds. Determined to establish a career in broadcasting, Jennifer gained experience behind the camera through production and research positions with STV and IWC Media. In 2013, she was selected for the BBC Production Talent Pool, where she received professional training covering editorial standards, media law, health and safety and television production.
Jennifer’s television presenting career accelerated when she became an STV Presenter and Reporter in 2014, initially co-anchoring ‘The Riverside Show’ before appearing across programmes including ‘Live at Five’ and ‘The Edinburgh Festival Show’. ‘Live at Five’, which Jennifer co-hosted for three years, won the Daytime Award at the RTS Scotland Awards 2018. She later expanded into national television and radio, becoming Presenter of Heart Scotland Drivetime in 2019 and progressing to Presenter of Heart Breakfast across Scotland in 2023. Jennifer has reported for BBC One’s ‘The One Show’ since 2021 and became a Presenter and Co-commentator for ‘The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo’ in 2022. Her wider television credits include BBC One’s ‘Crimewatch Live’, ‘Sunday Morning Live’ and ‘Morning Live’, ITV’s ‘This Morning’, Channel 5’s ‘Lost Dog Found Dog’ and BBC travel series ‘Getaways’. Throughout her broadcasting career, she has interviewed prominent figures including Kylie Minogue, Lorraine Kelly, Simon Pegg and Scotland’s former First Minister.
As a keynote speaker and event host, Jennifer translates the skills developed across live television, radio and international events into practical insights for corporate audiences. She can speak compellingly about communication, confidence, presenting, broadcasting, career development and performing under pressure, sharing lessons from a career where preparation, adaptability and composure are essential. Jennifer understands how to engage different personalities, think quickly during live situations and communicate clearly when there is little room for error. For organisations seeking an experienced media professional who can combine relatable personal experiences with proven communication expertise, Jennifer offers an engaging perspective on developing confidence, connecting with audiences and performing effectively under pressure.
