JB Gill is renowned as a former member of the boy band JLS, who showcased his all singing, and all dancing talents to the world, as a semi-finalist of the X Factor. After reaching international acclaim, the award-winning artist took a break from the quartet and has since carved out an equally successful career as a presenter and small-holding farmer. Making their debut on the X Factor in 2008, the boys may have come second place but came first in the eyes of the nation. Developing his own smallholding, JB has utilised his industry status to promote British bred meat, and sustainable methods, even hosting his own series aimed at educating children ‘On the Farm’. Evidently passionate about his work, JB’s presentation of the series saw it nominated for a BAFTA, and he appeared on further programmes including ‘Springwatch’ and ‘Countryfile’. In 2024, JB will be competing on Strictly Come Dancing, putting his talents as a performer to the test in the battle to claim the coveted glitterball trophy.
