Jacks inspirational speech relates to his experience of being left comatose for 3+ month's, following being struck by a car alongside the A406 after New Year 2010's Celebrations. He had just recently turned 21 years old, he was in the final year of his English and Politics degree. He graduated with his degree with a 2:1 in 2013 after intensive neuro-rehabilitation.
He has attained the invaluable experience of public speaking to audiences of 1000+ people at events including a TedxTalk on the 4th of July 2017 at Sadler's Wells, medial conferences, secondary school assemblies, charity conference meetings and membership gatherings, such as Headway.
Jack has also appeared on BBC Breakfast News in 2011, along with numerous other TV appearances such as being interviewed for Look North and featuring in several documentaries such as Secrets of the Human Brain being made by Lumix TV Productions and appearing in German documentaries.
In October 2014 his autobiographical memoir Battling a Brain Injury: the life that Jack built was published by independent Canary Wharf based London publisher Austin Macauley.
