Helen Gibson

Helen Gibson is the Managing Director of Agencia – a business consultancy that is keen on making sustainable change happen. Helen obtained a BA in Sociology from Durham University and an MBA from the University of Hull, before she served as a Research Analyst for Strategy and Performance Team at the Cabinet Office. Helen has also worked as a Consultant at the PA Consulting Group before assuming her role at Agencia. Under her stewardship, Agencia has reached immense heights in countries such as Bosnia Herzegovina, Ukraine, Bahrain, Kenya and Afghanistan. In 2017, Agencia received the Best Small Business in the UK award at the Family Business Awards. Helen has herself been included on the Top 20 Most Influential Business Leaders list by Business Works Magazine in 2022.

Helen is best known for her business acumen and leadership, attracting the attention of leading publications such as The Guardian, Yorkshire Post, Business Insider, International Journal of Education Management and even BBC Radio. She has been invited as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Hull and has served as a Magistrate on the Westminster and Central London Bench for over 10 years. In 2022, she was appointed MBE for her services to international trade – a testament to her prominence in the field.
