Heather Zichal

Political advisor, Heather Zichal is a renowned expert in the field of climate change and environmental policy. Having previously held senior positions under the Obama Presidency, and currently spearheading a global renewable energy firm, Heather has proven herself a leader of sustainable action. Starting her career in government as a legislative director for Rush D Hold Jr, Frank Pallone and John Kerry, Heather was a sought-after environmentalist to support government goals. Having proven herself as an indispensable expert, Heather later served as the lead Advisor on Energy and Environmental Issues during the successful 2008 Obama campaign. During her extended period as a senior government official, Heather’s most prestigious role was as the Deputy Assistant to the President for Energy and Climate Change. Since leaving her White House position in 2013, Heather has continued her climate campaigning, as the Vice President of Corporate Engagement for The Nature Conservancy.
