Public personality, environment speaker, activist and model, Heather Mills is a British entrepreneur who came into the public eye when a car accident left her amputated and she sold her story to a tabloid newspaper. Using the proceeds to set up a charitable organisation that recycles old prosthesis for disadvantaged amputee’s Mills has gone on to become a motivational speaker for the disabled and amputee community and shot to further infamy when she began a romantic relationship with former Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney.
After her marriage to McCartney Heather Mills became a prominent environment speaker and animal rights activist and s of 2012 is a patron of Viva! (Vegetarians' International Voice for Animals) and has worked as an ambassador and motivational speaker for the Vegetarian and Vegan Foundation. Heavily involved in charity work, Heather Mills is also vice-president of the Limbless Association and often appears at disabled advocacy and after dinner speaker events.
Known previously for her passion for skiing Mills skied for the development team for Britain’s Winter Paralympic team 2014, and has won several gold medals for her skiing abilities. Despite stepping down from the team before the Winter Olympics Heather Mills continues to be involved in disability sport and frequently works as a motivational speaker discussing her desire to overcome the limitations of her own disability to continue taking part in sport.
Further complimenting her background as an animal rights and environment speaker Heather Mills is an outspoken vegan and owns her own chain of vegan restaurants and brand of vegan foods, she is actively involved in the business management and development of her various endeavours and has appeared as an after dinner speaker and business expert at vegetarian, vegan and animal rights conventions.
