Born in Afghanistan under the Taliban rule, the brothers fled to the UK with their family at a young age. Together, they co-authored ‘The Boy With Two Hearts’ to share their exceptional journey. This moving bestseller was later adapted into a stage play and virtual reality experience, receiving acclaim in Cardiff, London and internationally.
Today, Hamed exemplifies his passion and perseverance from failing his A levels to becoming Chief of Staff in PwC’s technology leadership. Meanwhile, Hessam began his career in digital marketing at The Royal Mint and has since progressed to serve as Head of Global Digital Acquisition at Yugo, where he became one of the youngest judges for the UK Search Awards.
Between them, they have delivered impactful talks for organisations including the British Red Cross, BBC World News and numerous radio stations. Hamed and Hessam speak on the importance of resilience, diversity and much more, sharing their incredible journey together.
