Hamed Amiri is a best-selling author, inspirational keynote speaker, and technology leader whose extraordinary life journey underpins his powerful work with audiences around the world.
Born in Afghanistan under Taliban rule, Hamed fled to the UK as a child with his family while they cared for his terminally ill brother, Hussein. That journey became the basis of his acclaimed memoir, 'The Boy With Two Hearts', which has since been adapted for the stage, performed across the UK and internationally, and is now in development for screen.
Alongside his writing, Hamed has built a senior career in technology and transformation, currently working at PwC. This rare combination of lived experience and professional leadership allows him to connect deeply with audiences while offering insight that resonates far beyond inspiration alone.
What makes Hamed’s talks distinctive is how he weaves emotional storytelling with real-world reflection. He speaks openly about resilience, identity, belonging and perseverance, while also exploring leadership under pressure, culture, and the human side of change. His sessions are moving, honest and grounded, leaving audiences inspired but also challenged to think differently about responsibility, judgement and purpose.
Hamed has spoken to schools, universities, corporates, conferences and institutions across the UK and internationally. He is an ambassador for the British Red Cross and works closely with organisations navigating change, growth and uncertainty. His second book publishes with Hachette in August 2026.
