Hal Robson-Kanu

Hal Robson-Kanu is a Welsh inactive footballer who is renowned for his achievements playing for both West Bromwich Albion and Welsh national team. Having started his career at a young age, Hal developed his skillset throughout his career and was showcasing his remarkable abilities before being forced to take a career break due to an injury in 2021. Entering a new industry, Hal founded ‘The Turmeric Co.’ in 2018 and developed the company to help athletes recover after a sporting injury takes place.

After graduating from Reading Academy in 2007, Hal spent time on loan at Southend United and Swindon Town before returning to Reading. Having made his debut in 2009, he was limited to substitute appearances within his first year before becoming a vital member of the time. After showcasing his abilities in the Championship winning campaign, Hal went on to score 30 goals in 228 games for the club before signing for West Bromwich Albion. Throughout his five-year contract with the club, he made a significant impact on the team and was highly respected for his dedication to the sport.

Aside from his senior career, Hal began his international career representing England in the under-19s team. In 2007, he made his debut for the team against Germany and demonstrated his abilities to an international audience before transferring to the Welsh team in 2010. As a stand-out player in the under-21s squad, Hal gained his first cap for the senior team five days after his first appearance. Dedicated to the footballing industry, he has gained 46 caps in total for the senior team to date.
