Dina had carried Jess Ennis-Hill’s kit bag back in 2012 on Super Saturday and only came back from a broken foot in February this year. Desiree was selected to light the Olympic torch in London by Daley Thompson and Asha recovered from a near career-ending cruciate ligament injury in gymnastics in 2007 which prevented her from sprinting for almost four years.
All four girls possess huge amounts of talent and charisma and have won plenty of individual honours, but where they really excel is as a team.
