Fraser Doherty

Fraser Doherty is a leading businessman, famed for being the founder of SuperJam and the co-founder of Beer52. A thought-provoking entrepreneur in the food and drink industry, Fraser has created the world’s most popular craft beer club and a highly-popular jam brand stocked on the shelves of Waitrose and internationally in South Korea. Starting his entrepreneurial career when he was just 14 years old, Fraser is now booked as a speaker for corporate events. As a child, Fraser began learning his grandmother's jam recipes, which would ultimately change his life. In 2003 Fraser founded SuperJam, a unique product that was created 100% from fruit. Introducing the product to supermarket chain Waitrose at 16, Fraser became the youngest ever supplier of a major supermarket chain. Fast forward to today and SuperJam continues to be successful, stocked in hundreds of speciality stores and even on display at the National Museum of Scotland- showcased as an iconic Scottish brand. Fraser is also the successful co-founder of Beer52.com- a world-leading craft beer club. Co-founded in 2013, Fraser created Beer52 to distribute beer from the best brewery’s the world has to offer. Visiting a new country each month, Beer52 subscribers are provided with beers from around the globe and are also provided with a copy of Fraser’s magazine, Ferment. Alongside his businesses, Fraser has also authored his own books titled The SuperJam Cookbook, SuperBusiness and 48-Hour Start-up: From Idea to Launch in 1 Week.

A highly successful entrepreneur, Fraser has claimed countless awards and recognition- most notably being appointed as MBE for Services to Business. He has most recently claimed the Tip O’Neill Irish Diaspora Award and was a finalist for the Scottish SME Business Award. Other prominent awards have included being named as the UK’s Best Independent Beer Retailer, British Inspiration Award, Nectar Business Entrepreneur of the Year, the John Logie Baird Innovation Award and the Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland Award.
