Frank Dick

The chair of Scottish Athletics and former Director of Coaching for the British Athletics Federation, Frank Dick is a motivational speaker who specialises in sports and coaching; having worked in athletics for more than forty years Dick is the foremost instructional after dinner speaker in his area. Whilst working as a coach Frank Dick OBE worked alongside and trained some of the UK’s most successful athletes including Daley Thompson, Steve Ovett and Lord Sebastian Coe who he coached to European, Olympic and World fame.

Dick also devised regimes for European sportsman such as Boris Becker and Gerhard Berger and continues to encourage and inspire athletes in his work as a motivational speaker. A member of the IAAF Coaches Commission and Chair of both the European Athletics Coaches Association and the IAAF Academy, Frank Dick is an expert in how to motivate others and inspire individual and team success.
