Fergus Crawley is a hybrid athlete, online coach, content creator and founder of Omina Performance and the Modern Mind, now known as The Tenacity Podcast. After a dark period of depression, Fergus rediscovered himself through fitness and now takes on extreme endurance challenges. Most recently, he became a Guinness World Record Holder for his completion of Project TENacity, 10 Ironmans in 10 days across 10 cities in the UK and Ireland.
After three concussions in four weeks ended his rugby career, Fergus transitioned into powerlifting. However, he soon fell into a deep depression, even attempting to take his own life. Slowly, he began to rebuild his life and rediscover who he was. In 2021, he founded Omina Performance, an online and community coaching service which offers hybrid training plans and 1:1 guidance and has helped achieve over 12,000 personal bests. Since its inception, Fergus has undertaken multiple extreme endurance challenges and charity events, from a 500lb Squat, Sub-5 Mile & Marathon in the same day, 600kg Powerlifting Total & Sub-6 Hour 60km Ultramarathon in the same day, 1200lb Powerlifting Total & Sub-12 Iron Distance Triathlon in the same day, the Celtman Extreme Triathlon, the Double Brutal Extreme Triathlon, and most recently, Project TENacity, which saw him complete 10 Ironman Triathlon in 10 days across 10 cities in the UK and Ireland. The challenge helped fund over 10,000 potentially life-saving phone calls for CALM and earned him the status of a Guinness World Record holder.
With a large following on social media, Fergus posts updates about his feats and training across his Instagram and YouTube, and frequently uploads episodes of The Tenacity Podcast, where he shares his own stories of growth and resilience, as well as interviews with other endurance individuals. As a result of his incredible journey and insane challenges, Fergus has been featured in the Edinburgh News, BBC and Men’s Health.
A truly astonishing individual, Fergus is a figure of determination, constantly pushing the human body to the extreme and raising awareness for charity causes along the way. An inspiration to those struggling with mental health and their own wellness journeys, Fergus’s talks draw from his own experiences, diving into the lowest lows whilst taking the audience along for the ride to the highest highs. Fergus is the perfect addition to a multitude of events, with his ability to connect with a range of individuals through a common belief: that the hardest challenges often lead to the best discoveries about oneself.
