Ethan Mollick

Ethan Mollick is a whizz when it comes to innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. As an Associate Professor at The Wharton School, he researches factors that lead to success in entrepreneurship and innovation. Ethan has now shifted his focus to how AI affects education and work.

Before he obtained his PhD in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from MIT Sloan of Management, he received his MBA from the same institution and a BA in Science, Technology and Policy from Harvard University. He has been the Co-Founder and VP of Business Development at eMeta Corporation. In his current role at The Wharton School, he builds tools, games and AI applications that democratize business education in addition to teaching.

Ethan is dedicated to understanding how the current age of AI permeates into existing work and education sectors. He frequently contributes to his blog to share findings from his academic research that provide insight on AI and its implications for education and work. Ethan is also the author of “The Unicorn’s Shadow” and “Changing the Game”, amongst other titles. Ethan’s research has often garnered interest from major outlets like CNN and The New York Times.

Co-Founder of Wharton Interactive, Ethan aims to make education more accessible to people from all walks of life through games and simulations. Ethan has worked with a plethora of organisations – from startups to government agencies.
