Sporting television and radio presenter Ed Chamberlin began his on-screen work as the co-host of the betting show the Full SP, alongside fellow television presenter Jeff Stelling. A former bookmaker and journalist, Chamberlin was the ideal choice for the role however he quickly demonstrated that his talents extended beyond the fields of sports betting and he soon found himself as one of the most prominent television presenters working for the international broadcaster Sky Sports.
Chamberlin began working for Sky Sports in 1999 and has since gone on to act as the leading television presenter for their coverage of the UEFA Champions League as well as the World Cup Draw; as of 2011, Ed Chamberlin was Sky Sports leading football TV presenter and presented both Super Sunday and the Ford Monday Night Football shows. Ed left Sky Sports in 2016 and from 1st January 2017 will become the lead ITV Horse Racing presenter once the channel takes over the coverage from Channel 4.
He is very much looking forward to taking on a new challenge at ITV for the horse racing coverage and can’t wait to work on the major race meetings across the calendar and help ITV develop their own take on the coverage and ensure the sport’s popularity grows even bigger. Away from ITV Racing, Ed has hosted many corporate occasions such as awards ceremonies, breakfast meetings, Q&A Panels and charity gala dinners and he is equally at home for such occasions as he is on TV.
Ed’s all round experience as a TV Presenter and corporate host allows him to really add value to any occasion with his reassuring and professional manner that immediately puts a viewer or audience member at ease. Ed is available for speaking engagements, event hosting, endorsement opportunities, personal appearances and media work.
