Dr Mark Bloomfield is a Fellow at Cambridge Judge Business School and the founder of Turbulence Group, The Transformation Tour, and Stealth AI Startup. Although he might have “failed” in becoming the pilot and golfer he’d originally dreamed of being, Dr Mark didn’t let that stop him having a successful career. To overcome personal and professional difficulties, he is constantly adjusting in order to stay ahead of the game. As a speaker, Dr Mark brings valuable insights on innovation and sustainability, preparing audiences to tackle challenges and take the future in their stride.
His colour blindness might have prevented him from being a pilot, but determined to remain in the field of aviation, Dr Mark decided to complete a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bristol. Shortly after, he commenced his career at Thomas Cook Group in Operations Research, before taking on Director roles at Global Media & Entertainment, leading AI and innovation projects that broke new ground within the industry.
Now, he is the founder of Turbulence Group, assisting organisations to utilise disruptive technology such as AI to gain competitive edge, and encouraging leaders to welcome uncertainty and see it as an opportunity for growth. He also hasn’t strayed far from his desire to be a golfer, having established The Transformation Tour, a golf-based leadership programme that breaks down barriers in executive development. Leaders are challenged in play, refreshing their approach to change and decision-making. Lastly, he is the founder of Stealth AI Startup, an initiative dedicated to innovating solutions that transform industries and change lives for the better.
Furthermore, Dr Mark is a Fellow at Cambridge Judge Business School, sharing the rich experience he has gained from throughout his career in AI, innovation, and transformation to inspire budding leaders and help them flourish in a world that is constantly evolving. You won’t want to miss the opportunity to hire Dr Mark, who is poised to pass on his next-level expertise to your audience, covering topics such as using AI as an advantage, pioneering innovative solutions with limited resources, turning uncertainty into a strategic advantage, and embracing digital transformation to extend the life of your business.
