Starting his stand-up journey in 2010, Kwame rapidly became a hit in the comedy circuit, going on to win the Chortle Student Comedian of The Year award in 2012. His debut show, Open Arms, was nominated Best Newcomer in the 2017 Edinburgh Comedy Awards, and he recently received critical acclaim at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival for his solo hour, Living In Sin. A talented entertainer, Kwame has performed all over the UK and ventured internationally to Australia, Sweden, and the Netherlands.
In 2019 he released a BBC Radio 4 pilot and has performing credits on ITV 2, Latitude Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Utrecht International Comedy Festival. Often performing stand-up straight after completing his shift at A&E, Kwame can be seen at the West End Comedy Club, Angel Comedy Club, Guinea Pig Club, and the Old Join Stock Theatre.
