Diana Kander is a keynote speaker, consultant, best-selling author, and podcast host. A serial entrepreneur, Diana has accumulated a wealth of knowledge on entrepreneurship and innovation. Becoming a professional keynote speaker, she now shares the lessons she learned from her own experiences and observations.
Diana holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Law J.D. from Georgetown University. After graduating she went on to practice law as a public attorney for a year, before spending 7 years investing in multiple ventures. Whilst not all of her business ventures were successful, Diana sold millions of dollars worth of products and services. In the process she gained valuable entrepreneurial experience.
Drawing on her business experience, Diana mentored hundreds of start-ups and Fortune 500 executives, during her time as a senior fellow at the Kaufman Foundation. After spending time as an assistant professor at the University of Missouri, teaching on the MBA programme, she became a fellow with Maddock Douglas. Diana worked with Fortune 100 companies in a highly complex environment, helping leaders identify new markets, enhance their brands, and provide more innovative products and services.
Documenting the lessons she learned on her entrepreneurial journey, Diana wrote the New York Times bestseller, All In Startup. The book was so successful it came second on the Wall Street Journal’s bestseller list. It also caught the attention of multiple organisations, who then requested her help in getting their employees to become more entrepreneurial.
A curious person, Diana started to learn about the different processes and cultures in the organisations she visited, noting how a loss of curiosity impaired the ability of a company to grow, she wrote her second book The Curiosity Muscle. Putting her model to practice, Diana helps companies fix their curiosity, so that they can ask the right questions, enabling them to achieve their full potential.
Host of The Growth League podcast where she invites first-rate female leaders to share their insight into business growth, Diana always has fresh perspectives. With a range of experiences in entrepreneurship and innovation, stemming from her personal ventures, consulting for corporate clients and teaching in an MBA program, Dianna Kander is a highly proficient speaker on the topics of entrepreneurship and innovation.
