Dean Edwards is a young British celebrity chef who shot to fame after making it to the final the BBC’s seminal series Masterchef. His interest in cooking began whilst studying photography at university however it would take several years after his graduation and a job as a road digger before he began gaining the recognition he so surely deserved; after appearing in Masterchef, Edwards has gone on to provide cooking demonstrations, appear as TV chef, host and resident celebrity chef for a number of high profile shows including ITV’s This Morning and Lorraine.
Edwards calls cooking his passion and has appeared as a TV chef on a number of different television series, demonstrating his popularity and the public demand for his cooking; he is known for his real home cooking style, and using simple methods with easily sourced ingredients.
As a TV chef Dean Edwards has appeared on Good Food Live, Take on the Takeaway and Market Kitchen and has worked with some of the most famous celebrity chefs in the industry including Gary Rhodes and Jean Christophe Novelli. As well his work as a TV chef Dean Edwards has worked in Michelin star restaurant Midsomer House and his celebrity chef status has drawn in many customers, later, in 2013, Edwards released his first cookbook Mincespiration.
