Dave Horsey

Golf speaker and professional player Dave Horsey is a young British golfer with a successful amateur career who turned professional in 2007. Born in Greater Manchester Horsey embarked on his career as a golf speaker and player at a young age and had won the Greek Amateur Championship aged just 20. Frequently called upon to represent Great Britain at international tournaments, Dave Horsey is quickly becoming one of the UK’s most popular sports speakers and is often requested at corporate golf days and after dinner speaker events. Making it to the top ranks of the Challenge Tour in 2008 Dave Horsey was finally invited to join the prestigious European Tour in 2009. 2010 saw Horsey gain his first European Tour win, at the 2010 BMW International Open. He finished the season ranked 32nd on the Order of Merit, Horsey gained his second European Tour win the following year at Trophée Hassan II and his third in 2014 at the M2M Russian Open. During his professional career, Horsey has competed against a number of well-known and accomplished golf speakers and players including Rhys Davis, who he beat with a birdie on the second hole at the Hassan II. Horsey’s work as a sports speaker has seen him travelling up and down the UK as well as appearing at after dinner speaker events and golf days in Europe; Dave Horsey continues to play golf professionally and achieve various notable successes across the European Tour.
