Dana Novakovic has been at the forefront of the M&A Energy sector for over two decades and currently serves as the Principal of E&I Partners. Her role entails advising a closed circle of conventional & renewable energy clients on board-level matters related to corporate finance, strategy and mergers & acquisitions. A seasoned speaker on the subject, Dana has been invited to deliver an address at the 2023 NAPE Global Energy Summit.
Dana completed her MBA from the University of Rochester and has also received a certification in Global Energy, Oil & Gas and New Technologies from the prestigious Harvard Business School. Moreover, her illustrious career is testament to her expertise in the M&A energy sector. Her first role was as an Associate of M&A Energy at Lehman Brothers, where she advised British Petroleum on the divestitures taking place in Germany, the UK and the US. Since then, she has held prominent positions such as Associate of Petroleum & Strategy Practices at McKinsey & Company and Director of M&A Energy at UBS. Prior to her business career, having graduated Summa Cum Laude at all levels of her formal education, Dana's academic record includes Ron Brown Fellowship Award enacted by the US Congress, and administered by the International Research and Exchanges Board in Washington DC, USA.
As ABN AMRO Bank’s Head of Mergers & Acquisitions Energy, Dana was tasked with enhancing global energy coverage from Latin America to Asia. Throughout her career, she has worked on some of the most crucial accounts including Shell’s strategic actions in Europe, numerous IPOs on NYSE and LSE and not to mention the countless mandates for Middle Eastern and Asian NOCs. Her experience thus far, positioned her to take on the role as Managing Director of M&A Energy & Infrastructure at LBC Energy Advisory. Here, Dana was able to make great strides in monetising the FCA authorised and regulated M&A Energy and Infrastructure firm. She also co-advised on conventional & renewable energy and power sector mandates globally.
Since 2021, Dana has served as the Chairperson of the Energy & Infrastructure Group for the European Women on Boards Organisation. Founded in 2013, through her role Dana is ensuring that the non-profits mission to achieve gender equality in decision-making across Europe continues in full swing.
