Clementine Pippa Ebel

Clementine Pippa Ebel is a China specialist, strategist, and bilingual speaker, widely recognised for her in-depth knowledge of UK-China relations and her ability to engage international audiences. A fluent Mandarin speaker, one of her most significant achievements includes establishing six UK-China schools, cementing her dedication to cross-cultural education and international collaboration.

Her journey began at the University of Oxford, where she graduated with a degree in English Language and Literature in 2017. A recipient of the William Gurney Prize and the Thomas Tam Fund, she studied Mandarin intensively, later completing advanced language training in Shanghai. She also received the Great Britain China Centre Chinese Language Award (2018) for her commitment to Mandarin studies. Post-university, Clementine then moved to China, where she founded CulturEd, a company creating bilingual educational programmes and content for multinational corporations.
