Catherine Mayer

Female activist, published author and political speaker, Catherine Mayer, is the co-founder and President of the Women's Equality Party. At the forefront of the fight for representation, she has dedicated her career to increasing the reach of female politicians. This talented author uses her platform to redefine gender stereotypes, through such acclaimed novels as Amortality: The Pleasures and Perils of Living Agelessly, Charles: The Heart of a King, and Attack of the 50ft Women: How Gender Equality Can Save the World!. Catherine cemented the purpose of the party in 2018, by describing how "the very first policy document made clear that WE supported “the right of all to define their sex or gender or to reject gendered divisions as they choose." Upon spotting a gap in the market for female representation in music, Catherine co-founded the Primadonna Festival in 2019, which celebrates female musicians, writers and comedians.
